509 Sinister X7 Ignite S1 Heated Snowmobile Goggles
FOG DOESN'T GET TO DECIDE WHEN YOUR RIDE IS OVER.
The 509 Sinister X7 Ignite S1 Goggle combines an electrically heated lens, integrated fan and intelligent moisture sensing into one of 509's most advanced snowmobile goggle systems.
Rather than waiting for your goggles to fog and then trying to clear them, Ignite S1 technology monitors humidity and moisture inside the goggle and automatically activates the heated lens and fan when needed.
The result is clearer vision through changing temperatures, deep snow, hard riding, trail stops and other conditions that routinely overwhelm conventional goggles.
Add 509's 5MAG magnetic quick-change lens system, premium lens technologies, OTG compatibility and interchangeable Sinister X7 lenses, and you have a goggle built for riders who don't want visibility to become the weak link in their gear.
Why Choose Ignite S1?
Traditional heated goggles require the rider to recognize fogging and react.
The Ignite S1 system can react for you.
An in-frame sensor monitors moisture and humidity, activating the heated inner lens and built-in fan in Auto mode to help drive moisture away before it compromises your vision.
For riders who want more control, Manual mode can be accessed through the 509 app, allowing adjustment of the heating and fan system.

Lens Guide
🌙 Nightvision — Clear
Maximum light transmission for night riding and extremely low-light conditions.
If somebody rides after dark, this is the obvious choice.
💎 Black Sapphire — Sapphire Mirror Light Blue HCS
An HCS high-contrast lens designed around overcast and low-light snow conditions.
This is one of the better mountain-riding choices where flat light and terrain definition matter.
🖤 Black Ops — Photochromatic Polarized Smoke
The premium do-it-all option.
The photochromatic lens adapts as available light changes, while polarization helps reduce reflected glare from snow.
509 rates it across approximately S2–S3 conditions, from partly cloudy/sunny through bright sunshine.
❤️ Racing Red — Red Mirror Smoke
A darker S3 sunny-day lens designed for bright conditions.
💗 Raspberry Pop — Raspberry Mirror Light Smoke
Another S3 bright-light option, with Raspberry styling.
🍊 Orange Pop — Fire Mirror Light Rose HCS
High-contrast rose-based lens intended for overcast and low-light riding.
🍋 Lemon Pop — Hi-Vis Mirror Light Yellow
Designed for overcast and low-light snow conditions, where increasing apparent contrast can be more valuable than blocking lots of light.
🤍 Whiteout — Polarized Yellow
A polarized low-light lens aimed at overcast and flat-light conditions, combining glare reduction with a high-transmission yellow base.
🌌 Galaxy — Purple Mirror Amber
Amber-based lens with a Purple Mirror treatment for partly cloudy and lower-light conditions.
5MAG Quick-Change Lens System
Conditions change quickly in the mountains.
509's 5MAG magnetic lens-retention system lets you remove and install compatible lenses rapidly without fighting conventional clips or tabs.
The Sinister X7 platform also gives you a large selection of replacement lens technologies including:
- Ignite S1 heated lenses
- Polarized lenses
- Photochromatic lenses
- HCS high-contrast lenses
- Fuzion lenses
- Clear and low-light lenses
Important Lens Compatibility
Standard Sinister X7 lenses will physically fit the Sinister X7 Ignite S1 goggle through the 5MAG system.
However:
Only the Sinister X7 Ignite S1 replacement lenses provide the Ignite heated-lens function.
So a rider can carry a conventional X7 lens as an alternate lens, but it will not become heated simply because it is mounted to an Ignite S1 frame. 509 specifically confirms this compatibility distinction.
OTG Eyeglass Compatible
The Sinister X7 Ignite S1 is OTG – Over The Glasses compatible, making it a strong option for riders who wear prescription glasses.
Helmet Fit
The standard Sinister X7 Ignite S1 is the regular-size platform.
For riders wearing 2XL or larger helmet shells, 509 recommends the Sinister XL7 Ignite S1, which adds additional face foam to improve the seal with larger helmet openings.
That's worth stating because it may save you a return.
